The carbon-reinforced composite upper shell distributes energy while keeping the volume as low as possible. The high-impact ABS lower shell curves around the head and hugs the nape of the neck. Gripping your skull from underneath, it prevents the helmet from rolling on your head and protects your occipital lobe and surrounding hemisphere. An adjustable occipital tensioning system further keeps the kayaking helmet in place. Multi-impact Expanded Polypropylene (EPP) foam doesn't absorb water and offers excellent memory, allowing the padding to return to its original shape after impact. A Coolmax moisture-wicking lining gives extra comfort. Included fit kits and adjustable straps allow you to customize the fit of your kayak helmet.
