This is a great item for solo kayakers who don't have someone to help move a heavier kayak across the rocks or sand when loading, unloading. I have a fiberglass kayak. While I can lift it alone, it is awkward and a little heavy if it is any distance from car to lake. I put these little wheels on in just a few seconds and lift up the front of my kayak and away I go. I can even load my paddles, life jacket and anything else I am taking into the kayak and just haul the whole thing in one trip. It is light enough to throw into the cargo hold if you plan on portaging anywhere.
It has cut down on the extra scratches and scapes I have acquired on other trips where I had to drag it a little.
Good product.

Overpriced piece of junk - C. A. Boylstein -
I purchased this item, strapped it to my kayak and the plastic hook cracked/broke the first time I used it - simply pulling it through my yard.
The plastic wheels are not easy to take off - they have metal pins that I still can't figure out how to take out - not easy at all
now with the broken clip the item is useless - I will try to buy a clip at lowes and get it to work again.
This thing is worth maybe , certainly not - all cheap plastic, breaks easy, not very useful.
Do not buy this!

This product is OK, but for about the same money we later found a similar product that was sturdier, made out of steel and had inflatable wheels. This product was entirely plastic with tires similar to a push lawnmower.......It was a little hard to use it on rough terrain. If the price was lower and you have no intentions of using it on rough terrain then it would be fine
