Strong Cart With One BIG Problem - R. C. Hughes - Altamonte Springs, Florida United States
Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R26VKXVA6M80SW This is a well thought out well built cart. Whoever thought up the design was really using their noodle. The BIG problem lies in the wheels and/or inner tubes they use. Why their R&D Dept. didn't pick up on this is beyond me. Just like the other reviewer, I suffered severe setbacks with tire inflation. I am putting the tire assemblies in the wells of my kayak JUST AS THEY RECOMMEND, but they need deflated to fit in there, so they need re-pressurized on each trip. Well I ripped the valve right out of the wheel on my first adventure and had to push the whole rig 2 miles back to my base point. The C-Tug company was very good about it and offered to replace both tires and wheels for the cost of postage. That was yesterday. So again, strong cart with one major design flaw. A potentially 5-star product gets a 3.
Worthless - tires won't hold air. - Donald Thompson - St Petersburg, FL
I've tried to use this 3 times, with at least a month between tries as I seldom need a cart like this. EVERY TIME the tires were flat. And, I had trouble refilling them. I'm giving up.
This is extremely frustrating because I bought mine directly from the American distributor after complaining about tire problems with another brand. He assured me they had no similar problem. But C-Tug is worse. At least I could refill the others. C-tug has a short valve and a large wheel frame. The filler nozzle on my Black & Decker air pump will not go on the valve. The last time I went somewhere that had their own compressor and refilled the tires. They had a nozzle that would fit. A short time later - flat again. Their distributor either did not know his product or was a bald faced lier.
I don't know how these products work if used regularly or somewhere else. But, in Florida, if used once in a while, avoid this product like the plague.
